Day 3: Monster Hunter World
Monster Hunter World is the latest installment of the Monster Hunter series that started around 2004 released by Capcom for the PlayStation 2. Since then it has evolved into a game where it is loved by the fans and has received the full support of the player base . You hunt giant monster ranging from big lizards to giant flying dragons together with you fellow hunters or solo with your palico friend. You can choose between 14 different weapon ranging from a big fat sword to a lance that is also a gun.
The game is a bit of challenge since it doesn’t hold your hand when you start, known for its lack of tutorials where you are forced to learn on your own as you play the game, Monster Hunter World is very fun to play despite its lack of tutorials. The fact that you can beat a monster after a few tries can feel satisfying and makes you feel good about yourself that you did it, with no tutorials unlike other games.

MHW for me is a very very very, did I say very? well, very fun game and it is worth your money and time if you wish to invest in it. Yes, others may say it can get a little redundant and boring because you have to grind materials and beat a monster over and over again just to get a single rare piece that only drops at 1% or less. But despite that it still is a great game and for me its worth the purchase if you wish to do so. I have poured hours and hours of time into this game and I still find it fresh with every hunt since I try to make each hunt fun by imagining myself as the character facing off against a giant beast showing it who’s the boss around here.
And if it gets boring you can go online and hunt with other people, surprisingly many players are willing to help you no matter how low levelled you are, I have encountered a lot players with hunter ranks ranging from 700 – 999 still willing to help my lowly self. And if that still doesn’t get you hyped, well, the new expansion dlc for mhw has been released there are tons of new quests and things for you to do in the game.
